Effective 17 September 2026
This policy covers the Boxwood Roll app for iPhone and iPad (“the app”, “we”). For questions, use the contact form on the support page.
None. We do not collect, receive, store on servers, sell or share any personal data or usage data. Our App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected”, and the app’s privacy manifest declares no collected data types and no tracking.
So the game can work offline, the following is saved only inside the app’s private storage on your device:
| Item | Why |
|---|---|
| Garden progress, stars, best rolls, daily plan results, streaks, ribbons and roll counts | To show your progress and unlock estates |
| Settings (sound, haptics, appearance, reminder time, board options) and the estate name you type | To remember your choices |
| Your estate backdrop photo | To show it on Your Estate and on postcards |
| Garden postcard images | For your Garden Journal |
This data never leaves your device through the app. It may be included in your own iCloud or computer backup, which Apple handles under its own privacy policy.
You can change any permission at any time in iOS Settings.
The app does not track you across apps or websites, does not use the advertising identifier, and shows no ads.
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children.
In the app, Settings → Progress → Reset progress erases gardens, stars, daily results, ribbons and postcards, and “Remove” on Your Estate deletes the backdrop photo. Deleting the app removes everything it stored. Because we hold no data, there is nothing for us to delete on a server.
Data protection laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct and delete personal data. We hold no personal data about you, but you can still contact us with any question and we will reply.
If this policy changes, for example because a future version adds an online feature, we will update this page and the effective date before that version is released.
